Anna Nicole Smith Leaves New York a Smashing Hit!

CEDAR KNOLLS, NJ September 18, 2004 -- There’s no doubt about it, Anna Nicole Smith ended Olympus Fashion Week Spring 2005 a smashing hit – or should that be a crash hit? When leaving New York City on Friday, September 10, Anna Nicole Smith’s black stretch Limousine was involved in an accident just outside of the Lincoln Tunnel on Dyer Ave. at W. 31st St.

Smith had just been picked up from the Bryant Park Hotel on her way to Teterboro Airport in New Jersey, when the limo collided with a Silver BMW 328i. There were a number of people in the limo with Smith and an undetermined number of people in the BMW. Luckily, no one was hurt.

“We are so happy Anna is okay,” said Alex Goen CEO of TRIMSPA. “She has been on a whirlwind of events over the past few weeks, it’s unfortunate that happened at the tail end of her trip, but the most important thing is that nobody got hurt and everyone is okay.”

Shortly after the fender bender, another limo was dispatched to pick up Smith and the crew she was traveling with so she could catch her flight to Las Vegas where she was due to be a presenter at the World Music Awards.
